Mauve Magic

Cool mauve-pink contrast for calm, clear UI
About Mauve Magic
Mauve Magic looks like a blush-toned highlight that has been gently cooled, not a full leap into lilac. On my screen it reads smoother and more grounded than La la Love, with a richer, mauve-forward undertone. It's also drier and less "soaked" than Dripping Wisteria, so it doesn't feel damp or plush, and it keeps more pink presence than Lily, which leans dustier and lighter.
I use it for UI moments that need to feel soft but deliberate: card headers and empty-state panels in skincare, beauty subscriptions, and wellness dashboards, plus creator tools where section tabs and selected chips must be noticeable without going purple-heavy. It's polished mauve brightness that lands in the "friendly, controlled" lane, the kind of color you want on micro-interactions like hover fills, progress accents, and media tile tags. the one I reach for when the design needs a calmer pink highlight instead of the airy pastel route.
Quick quirk: because it sits more saturated than Lily, thin borders can still disappear on light surfaces. Give it a slightly thicker stroke or pair it with a tinted background so it keeps weight.
