About Metal Petal

Metal Petal looks like a blush that caught a metallic tint, not a powdery pink. Compared with La la Love, it's more grounded and noticeably richer, so it doesn't drift toward lilac-light sweetness. And versus Dripping Wisteria, it's less soaked and less violet-leaning, so it feels drier and cleaner instead of damp-plush.

I use this shade when the UI needs metal-threaded pink presence without tipping into purple. Think fashion and beauty ecom category tiles, creator analytics sidebars, product cards for cosmetics subscriptions, and those "selected" chips and progress accents that should feel polished and current. It's the one you reach for when you want a pink highlight that reads intentional on dense screens, not airy or promotion-y.

Quirk: because it sits mid-light with a slight cool cast, thin strokes can look soft on white. Give it a slightly thicker border or let it sit on a lightly tinted surface for better weight.
