Old Rose
#c08081
Dusty rose-orange for subdued highlights, not earthy
About Old Rose
Old Rose hits my eye like a soft petal tint on top of an orange base, not a burnt clay and not a peachy coral. Compared with Grand Sunset, it keeps the warmth but pulls it toward a muted pink undertone, so it reads lighter and less brick-red. And unlike Bite My Tongue, it doesn't feel cool or reserved. It's more saturated than Earthworm too, with less dusted, terracotta restraint.
On screens, I like it for product UI accents where you want orange warmth without the sporty "red-orange" attitude. Think skincare and wellness category cards, pickup and dietary state pills, and small section headers in food and home e-commerce. It also shows up nicely in packaging mockups for label callouts against creams, especially when you're trying to keep things cozy rather than grounded.
Pair it with warm off-whites and oat or sand tones. Next to cool grays, it can look a little rosy and less orange, so match the temperature across the layout.
