Dusty Duchess
#b18377
Dusty mauve-leaning orange for softer, cooler warmth
About Dusty Duchess
On my mockups, Dusty Duchess looks like an aged terracotta label dipped in warm beige. It's noticeably more muted and more brown than Earthworm, and it doesn't have Earthbound's peachy beige softness. Compared with Grand Sunset, it gives up the red-orange punch and settles into a dusty, home-printed kind of warmth.
I reach for it when orange needs to feel worked-in, not blush-adjacent. Think category pills, form field highlights, and quiet callouts in dashboards and lifestyle apps for food, skincare, and retail where creams and warm grays are doing most of the heavy lifting. In UI screenshots, it reads like a tone you can overlay on oat backgrounds without turning pink.
Pair it with slightly darker caramel browns or warm ivory so it doesn't fade next to very light peach tones.
