Earthbound
#a48a80
Dusty, rosy orange that reads softer than clay-mids
About Earthbound
Earthbound lands somewhere between clay and muted peach, but it leans a little more beige and a touch less coral than the terracotta warmth of Earthworm. Compared to Grand Sunset, it gives up some of that deeper red-orange pull, so the result feels gentler and more settled. It reads like an orange that's been softened at the edges without turning gray, more dusty earth than pigment.
For me, it's the one you reach for when you want an orange that stays wearable in UI without flirting with blush. Think category chips and secondary buttons in dashboards and lifestyle apps, especially in food, skincare, and wellness flows where you need warmth that doesn't shout. It also holds up in packaging photography when labels sit over creams and warm grays, because it feels grounded next to oat tones instead of slightly peachy.
One note: if your neutrals go too cool, Earthbound can start looking flat, so keep the surrounding whites and grays warm enough to carry it.
