Slightly pinked warm tan for cozy UI
About Nougat
Nougat looks like the crust of a toasted cream candy, but with the heat dialed down. It's a mid-light, dusty beige-brown that reads warm and subdued at first glance, then keeps turning slightly rosy as you move past it. Compared to Macaroon, it's less powdery and more toasted, not chalky. Compared to Cocoloco, it feels lighter and more neutral-warm than that steadier, deeper restraint. And next to Bakery Brown, it doesn't have that cool, structured pull, it stays gentler and friendlier.
I use Nougat for hospitality surfaces where you want a cozy backdrop without going caramel-bright: card containers, menu and promo modules, and editorial section blocks. It also holds up on product detail pages for food retail and bakery brands, especially under lifestyle photos where you need a tone that won't fight skin tones. In UI, it works well for quiet panels, dividers, and button fills when the design needs to feel food-first, not heavy.
One quirk: because it's muted, it can flatten next to very crisp whites. If your layout feels washed out, pair it with slightly darker text or a cooler cream for contrast.
