Ghost Pepper

Richer, darker ghost red-orange for urgent accents
About Ghost Pepper
Ghost Pepper reads like an orange-red that's been pulled a little darker and tightened up. On a mockup screen it hits with peppery heat instead of the smoother lift you'd get from Blood Kiss, and it doesn't sink as far as Bloody Mary. Compared to Heartwarming, it feels more focused and less friendly, like the warmth is sharpened, not softened.
I use it for brand tags, food labels, and ad banners when you need "red" to stay clearly orange-leaning but still look intentional in UI. It's the kind of shade that holds up in commerce product pages and editorial overlays, especially when the background is cream or warm gray and other reds start looking muddy. Put it next to Blood Kiss and you'll see the difference immediately: this one has a more contained punch, not that brighter forward lean.
Quick caution: on very yellow creams it can look a touch harsh. Pair it with charcoal, cocoa browns, or neutral blacks to keep the heat clean.
