Racing Red

Cleaner racing red for assertive, cooler UI accents
About Racing Red
Racing Red looks like a clean hit of fire on a test print, not a deep soak. Compared with Bloodthirsty Lips, it stays brighter and more forward, with none of that wine-leaning maroon drift. Compared with Heartwarming, it's less orangey and less "friendly," more like a decisive red that keeps its edge. It also doesn't have Monza's tightened, traffic-signal snap, so it reads less "sharp-cut" and more steady heat.
I reach for Racing Red when the packaging or UI needs momentum without going into wine-dark restraint or friendly coral territory. Think athletic apparel labels, fast food promo wraps, and product cards where a CTA has to feel confident. In editorial, it holds up on bold masthead bars and energy-forward cover typography, especially next to cream and deep charcoal.
Quick note: it wants contrast. If you flank it with darker, murkier reds, it can start to look slightly muted, like the punch gets squeezed out.
