Silence Is Golden
#c2a06d
Muted, lighter gold-green for calm headers
About Silence Is Golden
Silence Is Golden reads like a muted coin catch-light under dim office bulbs, not a bright gold flash. It's noticeably lighter and less saturated than Lion, so you don't get that sun-warmed leather punch. Compared with Medallion, it feels airier and more lifted, with less of that polished medallion midtone weight.
I use it when I want warmth that stays polite in a green-family UI. It's my the one you reach for shade for logistics portals and supply-chain dashboards where you need section bars, status chips, and callout labels that look "handled," not dusty. It also works in retail reporting headers and CMS editorial panels when Curry Sauce's beige drift would feel too flat, and when Gold Rush would read too yellow-forward.
Quirk: on heavy, saturated green backgrounds it can lose some of its gold bias. Pair it with cleaner cream neutrals or a softer olive shadow so the highlight stays intact.
