Curry Sauce
#be9e6f
Light curry-gold green, softer than Gold Rush
About Curry Sauce
Curry Sauce looks like a light, dusty sauce smudge on kraft paper: tannish, a little honeyed, and firmly in the green family without going full gold. Compared with Gold Rush, it's less nugget-polished and less yellow-forward, more beige-brown in feel. Against Amaretto Sour, it reads cooler and calmer, with less true liqueur sweetness and no push toward deeper caramel. And unlike Camel, Curry Sauce is more tinted and slightly more saturated, so it doesn't melt into linen neutrals.
I use it when I need warm-but-grounded UI surfaces that still feel "green-family" at a glance. It works for section headers in logistics and supply-chain media templates, and for dashboard panels, badges, and tier callouts where the warmth should be noticeable but not loud. It's also a solid choice for product packaging mockups when you want the one you reach for to feel food-adjacent, not fabric-adjacent.
Quirk: on very bright whites it can tip a touch muddy, so I usually pair it with cream or a deeper olive shadow to keep the undertone clean.
