Red Panda
#c34b1b
Lighter ember orange-red with terracotta softness
About Red Panda
Red Panda lands like a fresh clay-orange pencil mark that's been slightly warmed, then pulled back from the deep terracotta end. Compared with Paprika Kisses, it reads more saturated and more "red-forward" at a glance, but it's not as fiery and electric as Fire Bolt. Versus Dark Orange, it stays cleaner and lighter in tone, with less of that heavy, sun-baked weight.
I use it when the UI needs orange that feels human and decisive, not chili-dry or alarm-flame. It's my go-to for shipping and operations labels where you want visibility without sounding urgent, and for dashboards and finance apps that need a warm accent for headlines, category chips, or row highlights. Pair it with cream, light stone, and soft charcoal so the shade keeps its lift.
One quirk: on very warm neutrals it can drift a bit brownish, so give it a cooler gray or near-white buffer if you want it to stay crisp.
