Baker’s Dream
#c98f70
Rosy peach-tan with calmer warmth than Butterum
About Baker’s Dream
I keep coming back to Baker's Dream when I need a tan that still feels lived-in, like the first dusting of cinnamon on warm dough. It's lighter and more golden than Copperhead, but it doesn't carry the amber dessert pull Butterum can lean into. Compared with Chalet, it has a clearer yellow warmth and a smoother, less earthy undertone, so it reads more "soft grain" than "clay with bite."
Use it where you want the background to brighten the layout without taking focus: retail UI for bakery and home goods, onboarding screens, and hero banners behind product photography. It's also strong for editorial card containers and email templates where you want a light, friendly wash that still holds together against real textures. I like it as a button state or panel fill when you want warmth without drifting into orange or brown.
Pair it with cool grays or creamy neutrals, but keep an eye on nearby yellows, which can make it look a little flat if the surrounding palette is too warm.
