Violet Heaven
#cdb7fa
Pale lavender violet with calm, airy precision
About Violet Heaven
I keep thinking of violet gelato under soft overhead lights, because Violet Heaven lands as a clearer, more lavender-leaning purple than the dustier mauves and less veiled than Purple Illusion. It's lighter than the studio-night lavenders, but the saturation feels controlled, not washed out. The undertone reads distinctly cool, yet it never tips into the grayish calm you'd get from the bluer end of the family.
For UI, it's my go-to when the purple identity needs to look tidy in real products: onboarding steps in wellness and telehealth flows, section headers on consumer lifestyle dashboards, and promo tiles for skincare brands where you need subtle separation without losing readability on tinted cards. Compared with Mauve, it's cleaner and more direct; compared with Purple Illusion, it keeps more warmth in the violet itself instead of drifting toward a glossy-lavender veil. the one you reach for when you want "pretty in place," not misty.
Pair it with warm creams or soft periwinkle neutrals. If you stack it next to icy blues, it can look flatter, so I usually give it a cream or lilac-adjacent buffer.
