Sovereign Red

Sovereign Red feels like a red that's been through a suit press. It's still clearly red, but it comes off less "medicine-crimson" than Methadone and less snacky-hot than Demonic Kiss. Compared with Cherry Sangria, it holds onto more direct, headline-red energy while staying a step cleaner and less wine-dark. The undertone reads warm, but it doesn't tip as aggressively toward orange flare like the brighter neighbors.

I use it when the UI needs a confident accent without stepping into alarm territory. Think dashboards and finance apps that want a decisive alert or status tag, admin tables where actions need to stand out, and production labels for food and beverage brands that can't go too burgundy. It's the one you reach for when orange-red CTAs should look purposeful, not theatrical, especially on dark cards where it stays readable and grounded.

Pair it with warm neutrals or deep charcoals so it lands crisp. On very pale backgrounds, keep nearby text from getting too stark, or it can feel a touch formal and intense.
