Mint Chip

Mint Chip looks like condensation-tinted daylight on a mint wrapper, but steadier. It's a pale gray with a soft green lean, yet it doesn't tip fully into the more cyan edge of Jet d'Eau. Compared to Castle in the Sky, it feels slightly less "balanced-cool" and more quietly minty, with a calmer saturation that keeps it from reading as assertive on a canvas.

I use it when the UI needs to feel fresh without turning into near-white. Think dashboards and healthcare interfaces where you want secondary surfaces to read clean, not sterile, and form backgrounds that should stay gentle behind dense text. It's the one you reach for when you want that light, airy mood but still need a shade that holds its character next to neutral grays.

One quirk: place it beside warmer whites and it'll look more green and softer. Next to cooler grays it stays composed, and the mint stays subtle rather than "mint-forward."
