Picture a smoothie shop menu where the orange isn't loud. That's what Lava Smoothie feels like: a lava-bright orange with a velvety softness, not the sharper "spark" energy of Fire Bolt or the meatier blush lean of Bloody Salmon. It reads as warm and juicy, but it doesn't cross into brick-red, and it stays noticeably less pink than Mr. Krabs.

For UI work, I treat it as the the one I reach for when I need orange attention that stays readable and smooth. Think retail POS product tags, beverage and convenience app banners, and logistics screens for "processing" states that should feel active, not frantic. It's warmer than pure white without going clay-leaning, so it holds its footing on light panels and still looks solid on dark keylines.

Quirk: on creams it can feel a touch richer than nearby oranges, so keep text sizes and contrast in check and pair with neutral grays to avoid going overly syrupy.
