Koi reads like an orange that got filtered through warm light and then kept its composure. It's less ember-alert than Campfire, more lifted and clean than Bronzed, and it doesn't carry the glazed, tangerine smear feel of Jelly Slug. The undertone stays peachy-orange, so it lands friendly without turning coral-brown.

This is the one you reach for when you want warmth that stays readable on busy product surfaces. I use it in dashboards and finance apps for primary emphasis like "approved" states, active chips, and key-value highlights where you need a confident accent without sliding toward red. It also works well in e-commerce promo tags and media overlays on bright pages, because it's warmer than pure white yet not so hot it feels reactive.

One quirk: put it next to deep charcoal or ink gray and it snaps. Set it beside other oranges and it will look slightly more peach than fiery, so keep your palette's orange family direction consistent.
