Jelly Slug

Jelly Slug looks like a tangerine-orange paint dabbed onto a slightly glazed surface, then left to settle. Compared to Heirloom Blush, it's less blushy and more saturated, so it doesn't read as gentle or candlelike. Compared to Bronzed, it stays brighter and cleaner, with none of that clay-dusk dullness. And next to Flaming Orange, it feels rounder and a bit less flame-hot, like the heat got moderated without losing punch.

I reach for it in dashboards and finance apps when you want a primary accent that still feels friendly, not sunburnt. Think transaction list highlights, "in progress" chips, and media or sports score widgets where you need fast scan without drifting toward ember-red. It also works in e-commerce for product tiles and promo tags that need to pop on bright layouts while staying warmer than pure white.

Use it mostly for controls, badges, and small fills. On large backgrounds it can start to feel a touch sticky in tone, so pairing with cool grays keeps it from getting heavy.
