La Vie en Rose
#d2a5a3
Lighter rose-orange highlight, softer than dusty mesa
About La Vie en Rose
La Vie en Rose reads like a blush-stained ceramic tile pulled just out of late-afternoon sun. It's much softer than Pastel Pink, but it's not the dusty, shadowed quiet of Borlotti Bean. Compared to Indian Mesa, it leans more pink than orange, with a lighter, silkier presence that feels buoyant instead of grounded.
I use it as the one you reach for when you want a friendly warmth that still looks intentional at UI size, especially in consumer e-commerce and lifestyle onboarding where the interface needs to feel kind without turning milky. It also works well in editorial product cards, packaging wraps, and small UI accents where you want a subtle "welcome" tone in headers and buttons.
Pair it with warm off-whites and light blush neutrals. If you put it next to sharper terracotta, it can make that orange look heavier, so balance with creamier backgrounds.
