Red Republic
#d70200
Clean, high-saturation republic red for primary CTAs
About Red Republic
Red Republic lands like fresh paint on a new road sign, not a flare. Compared with Boulevardier, it keeps the red authority but steps away from that darker, orange-leaning steadiness, feeling a bit cleaner and more direct. It also isn't as orange-pushy as Dragon's Breath, and it avoids the ember-tangerine drift of Redsurrection. The undertone is pure red with just enough warmth to stay energetic without turning into tangerine heat.
I use it for interface states where red has to read fast and still look intentional: labels for critical actions, product error and retry screens, and red badges in e-commerce flows. Automotive dashboards and sports content both like it because it stays signal-red without the magenta bite, and it doesn't tip into the "lit" orange glow you get with Dragon's Breath. It works harder than it looks on light UI, and it holds its shape against dark headers.
Pair it with crisp neutrals or deep grays. Let it sit near saturated oranges and it can feel slightly flatter than you expect.
