Polished Limestone
#dcd5c8
Neutral gray-beige with refined, slightly warmer limestone tone
About Polished Limestone
Polished Limestone feels like the gray you see on a clean stone desk after daylight settles in, not the creamy off-white vibe that pulls toward Bone or Shōji. It's lighter and more neutral than Skyvory, but it doesn't soften the way Skyvory does. And compared to Shōji, it reads a bit more solid and less paper-like, with the warmth dialed back so it stays distinctly gray.
I use it as the one you reach for when you want calm backgrounds that still hold structure. It's great for dashboards and finance apps where UI chrome needs to look crisp without becoming cold. It also works in publishing layouts for sidebars, table surfaces, and reading panes when you don't want the page to look tinted.
Pair it with clear whites and mid-tone grays so it stays grounded. If you stack it next to warmer creams, it'll start looking cooler than the rest of the set.
