Garlic Toast
#dddd88
Light buttery chartreuse-green for gentle section dividers
About Garlic Toast
On my monitor, Garlic Toast looks like a pale, soft yellow-green crust after the heat hits and the edge goes quiet. It's lighter than Gold Grillz, but it doesn't read as hushed and gray-green as Celery Sceptre. Compared to Celestial Crown, it's closer to the toast side of cream, with a gentler golden pull that still stays unmistakably green.
I use it when I want a warm background that doesn't behave like a high-signal yellow. Think product interfaces for food and CPG brands, editorial sections in wellness magazines, and onboarding screens for plant-based services where the page needs to feel inviting without getting "sunny." It's also great for status panels, empty-state illustrations, and light-touch feature banners that need to be readable over white cards, not shouted at.
Pair it with deeper olives and soft charcoal text if you want it to feel grounded. If you lay it next to very cool, grayer greens, it can start to look slightly more golden than you planned, so I keep the contrast intentional.
