Gold Winged
#e6d682
Lighter honeyed yellow-green for calm accents
About Gold Winged
I keep coming back to Gold Winged when I want that sunlit, lightly toasted yellow without the puffiness of cream. Compared to Celestial Crown, it's a touch less pale and more assertive, so it reads as "paper" with a hint of warmth, not a near-white veil. Compared to Gatsby Glitter, it feels smoother and more buttery in temperature, less pointed, with a gentler yellow-green cast.
For dashboards and SaaS interfaces, it works like a soft stage light behind charts and controls: the pale background stays legible, but the page doesn't feel washed out like you'd get from extremely creamy yellows. I also like it on editorial product cards, onboarding steps, and e-commerce category headers where you want a warm-green family tone that still plays nice with charcoal text and natural greens.
One note: since it's fairly light, it can shift slightly more yellow on warmer displays, so I usually pair it with cooler olives or muted sage to keep the balance.
