Hint of Green
#dfeade
Light gray with gentle green undertone for calm surfaces
About Hint of Green
I keep coming back to Hint of Green when I need a very light backdrop that doesn't read as "just off-white." On my monitor it lands cool-gray first, but there's a quiet green whisper under the surface, not the warming push you get from nearby options like Ghost Lichen.
Compared with Distant Landscape, this one stays more restrained: less warmth, less saturation, and it won't pop into focus the way that color does. Compared with Cryo Freeze, it's a touch cleaner and more gray-forward, so it feels less beige-adjacent and more neutral in mixed media. I use the one you reach for on dashboards in health platforms (care plans, lab history, patient portals) and in reading interfaces where body text needs a soft field to breathe against, like e-learning and library apps. It also holds up in product settings screens and secondary cards without making disabled states look dirty.
Pair it with cooler grays and mid-tone type, and avoid stacking too many pale greens together or the intent starts to blur.
