Prom Corsage
#e7c3e7
Light, peachy-mauve blush for soft, readable UI
About Prom Corsage
I keep noticing Prom Corsage on moodboards as that light rose-pink that doesn't lean fully purple like a lavender tint. It's smoother and airier than Blackberry Yoghurt's muted pullback, but it still feels more deliberate than the softer, cool-mauve side of Purple's Baby Sister. The undertone reads warm-leaning bubblegum rather than mauve-cool, with a gentle saturation that makes it feel "ready," not washed.
For layout work, it's my the one you reach for when you need a celebratory highlight without shouting. I use it for skincare and beauty e-comm panels, carousel callouts behind product shots, and the selected-state backgrounds in media and lifestyle apps. It also works well in fashion and wellness landing headers where you want a friendly tint that keeps CTAs readable.
Quirk: if your surrounding colors drift too cool or too pale, it can start to look slightly pinker than intended. Pair it with deeper rose or a muted berry for separation, and keep your text contrast plan tight.
