Purple’s Baby Sister
#eec3ee
Cool, airy lilac-pink for subtle highlights and depth
About Purple’s Baby Sister
Purple's Baby Sister is the soft lavender-pink you notice on a plush hoodie sleeve, not the one that pops out at you from across the screen. It's lighter than Bubblegum Crisis, so it won't punch forward the way that higher-saturation pink does, and it stays clearer than Blackberry Yoghurt, which reads more muted and a bit more pulled back. The undertone feels more cool-mauve than warm bubblegum, giving it a gentler, fresher mood.
I use it when I want a calm highlight that still reads as deliberately purple-tinted. Think beauty and skincare brand cards, onboarding confirmation panels, and the background behind selected tiles in media or lifestyle apps. It works well for lightweight UI states where you still need personality without stealing attention from form fields and product imagery. This one is also a nice fill for e-comm banners and carousel headers when you're already using Pink family accents.
If you pair it with pure white, it can start to blur, so reach for a touch of deeper rose or soft berry nearby for separation.
