Snowed In
#e8e5de
Cool, softly muted gray for winter UI backgrounds
About Snowed In
Snowed In looks like the first layer of frost on a light sidewalk: not white, not creamy, and not fog-soft. It has more gray presence than Helium, so it doesn't disappear behind text. Compared to Party Ice, it's less crisp and a touch more muted, so it reads calmer than a cool, brighter surface.
I like it as a quiet background for publishing templates, help-center pages, and documentation where paragraphs need a comfortable field to sit on. It also works well in tables, settings screens, and operations dashboards for agencies and logistics teams, especially when you want charts and form controls to feel organized without the page turning stark.
One quirk: because it's slightly cooler and subdued, pair it with mid and darker grays for type. If you lean too warm with off-whites, the UI can start to look a little smudged instead of clean.
