Floating Feather

Feather-light pale yellow for airy UI backgrounds
About Floating Feather
Picture a feather-light dusting of cream on kraft paper, but with the warmth dialed down just enough to feel clean. Floating Feather reads lighter and silkier than Burrito, yet it doesn't go as neutral as Almond. Compared to Buttercream, it keeps a faint golden direction instead of that safer, more flattened hedge. The undertone is softly golden with less peach pull, so it feels airy rather than baked.
This is the shade I reach for when you want warmth that stays professional in UI and packaging. It shows up nicely in dashboards and finance apps, fintech and healthcare forms, and the kind of clean-beauty labels where cream can turn "dated kitchen" fast. For editorial and ecommerce too, it holds its own as a background behind lighter imagery without fighting it.
One quirk: it can look cooler on dim displays. If it starts reading a touch beige-gray, don't blame the design. Nudge the surrounding neutrals or add a slightly deeper accent so it stays purposeful.
