Golden Retriever
#eedec7
Light golden beige with gentle warmth, not sage
About Golden Retriever
Golden Retriever reads like cream that's had a quick golden sunbeam added. It's light, but it doesn't feel as restrained as Clam Up, and it doesn't cool off toward beige the way Cameo does. Compared with Cloud of Cream, it holds onto more warmth and a slightly stronger presence, so it doesn't recede.
I reach for it on product pages and marketing layouts where you want softness without drifting into plain off-white. It's great for recipe sites, SaaS dashboards, and publishing platforms that need a friendlier background than Cameo or Clam Up, especially next to charcoal text or deep green UI accents. It also plays well with photography that has real skin tones and wheat-y highlights, where lighter neutrals can look a bit flat.
Quick quirk: if you place it next to the cooler creams in your set, it'll feel more "cheerful" and a touch more saturated, so adjust your other neutrals before you lock the palette.
