Holy Ghost
#efe9e6
Soft gray-beige veil, warmer than Frothy Milk
About Holy Ghost
On my monitor, Holy Ghost reads like a misty wall after daylight settles, warmer than pure gray but not peachy enough to tip into Dogwood territory. Compared to Disappearing Memories, it doesn't go fully "worn" or vanish. It holds a soft presence, a steadier gray-beige that feels intentional, not exhausted. And unlike Grandma's Cameo, it's lighter and cleaner, with less dusty depth.
I reach for it when the interface needs calm without losing legibility on light surfaces: publishing production systems, reading apps, and documentation pages where headers and side notes shouldn't feel cozy or heavy. It also plays well with retail and lifestyle UI in healthcare-adjacent brands, especially when you have lots of white space and mid-tone photography. Pair it with darker charcoals for crisp hierarchy, or lean into soft, neutral warmth for forms, onboarding, and calm settings screens.
Quirk: because it's slightly more saturated than the washed-out neighbors, it can look "designed" next to near-white backgrounds. If your layout is very minimal, test it against Coconut Agony-like whites so it doesn't start acting like a deliberate layer.
