Violet Kiss
#f0a0d1
Cooler, deeper pink-violet for crisp UI accents
About Violet Kiss
Violet Kiss reads like a soft magenta-leaning pink that's been tucked under a sheer lilac veil. It's not as glazed and controlled as Pearly Pink, and it doesn't feel as cottony or "sweet candy" as Candy Floss. What stands out is the temperature shift: it leans cooler and a touch more purple, so it carries a slightly hushed, intimate mood instead of the warmer blushiness.
In UI, I use it for premium-feeling emphasis when I still want friendliness. Think beauty and skincare product galleries, dating and social app profile highlights, and fashion/beauty cards where you want a more composed accent than Hanami Pink's airy daylight. It's great for pill buttons, tag chips, and promo banners on near-whites, because the violet undertone keeps it from turning chalky.
Pair it with clean whites and cool greiges, not very buttery creams, or it starts to muddy. If you need separation, give it a little breathing room and avoid pairing it with overly warm pinks next to it.
