About Eggshell

Eggshell sits lighter than everything around it in this family, it's almost at the edge of reading as true off-white, but there's just enough warmth baked in that it doesn't feel cool or sterile. This is the color that disappears into the room until you actually need a background that won't fight your content.

Reach for this in light-mode interfaces, editorial layouts, and minimal packaging where you want the lightest possible foundation without going full white. It's softer and more neutral than , which makes it work better when your palette is already pale and you need something that won't introduce temperature confusion. Unlike Cauliflower, it has slightly more presence, there's a whisper of warmth without the muted, almost-bleached quality. Unlike Calcium Rock, there's no weight here at all.

Pair it with warm blacks and it stays invisible. The one quirk: push saturated or dark color into it and watch how much it recedes. That's not a problem, it's exactly what makes it useful, but it means this color works hardest when everything else in the layout is already pulling its weight.
