Restful Rain

Restful Rain (#f1f2dd) reads like a pale sky-gray caught just after the wash, quieter than the bright near-whites you're used to. It has that soft, slightly green-leaning neutrality that keeps it from becoming either yellow-cream or cold-stark. Compared to Praise the Sun's more sun-warmed yellow and Full Moon's obvious cream tilt, this stays more muted and cool in mood, closer to "washed daylight" than "sunlit paper."

In practice, I use it when the UI needs light without tipping into the overt warmth you'd notice immediately. It's my the one you reach for background in newsroom templates, document editors, and training portals where body text sits on a calm field and images still feel clean. It's also a solid choice for product cards and settings screens in retail and SaaS, because it doesn't feel as aggressively warm as Full Moon, and it's a touch more relaxed than Cumulus.

Pair it with medium grays and slightly blue or neutral accents if you want it to stay airy. If you swap to warm browns or honey tones, it can start to look more gray-green than rain-soft.
