Washed Canvas

Balanced warm gray-beige for softened, grounded panels
About Washed Canvas
I'm staring at a light UI mock where the background looks like off-white canvas that's been gently sun-faded. Washed Canvas lands a bit drier than Au Clair de la Lune, and it doesn't tip as creamy as Slippery Soap. Compared to Lotus Flower, it feels more neutral and less parchment-soft, with a quieter gray lean that keeps the page from looking buttery.
This is the the one you reach for when you need airy space but you can't afford a beige drift. I've used it for dashboards and finance apps where tables, KPIs, and charts need contrast without the page feeling harsh. It also works well in documentation and product marketing templates, especially when you want icons and screenshots to read cleanly over a background that stays calm.
One quirk: because it's so close to near-white, it can make very warm type look slightly pinkish. Pair it with charcoal or neutral gray text and you'll keep the tone composed.
