King’s Field

Drier pale olive-gold for grounded, readable sections
About King’s Field
On a mockup white card, King's Field reads like a pale, golden-green light that feels gently lit from the side, not sunbaked. It's warmer and more muted than Hippy, so it doesn't come off playful or "sunny-cheer" bright. And compared to Cornflake, it holds less saturation and stays softer, with a less present yellow snap than Cornflake.
I use it when the UI needs warmth without turning into that sharper lemon vibe you get from Chickery Chick. It's a great background wash for dashboards and hospitality interfaces, especially where you want categories, cards, or status areas to feel calm but still intentional. You'll also see it work well in product pages for home goods and food brands, plus editorial layouts for lifestyle and ag-tech when you want a light base that doesn't feel sugary.
Quirk: because it's lighter and more restrained than the yellower neighbors, it can feel a bit flat next to very crisp creams. If that happens, anchor it with olive accents or a slightly deeper green label color.
