Sandworm
#fce883
Warm sand-gold chartreuse, lighter and softer than neighbors
About Sandworm
Sandworm reads like a light sand that's been warmed through with a greenish tint. On my mockups it feels calmer than the brighter yellows, with a softer yellow core and less of that crisp, almost "snap" you get from the more saturated options.
I reach for it when the UI needs lift, but you don't want the page to feel over-energetic. It's a great fit for dashboards and finance apps that sit beside plenty of green accents, especially for KPI tiles, pill filters, and quiet empty states. Compared to Quack Quack, it's less airy and less daylight-bubbly. Compared to Chickery Chick, it avoids that borderline acidic push. Compared to King's Field, it holds a touch more brightness without turning into the sharper lemon direction.
One quirk: because it's light and slightly green-warm, it can wash out next to very pale creams. I usually keep the edges anchored with a deeper olive border or slate text so the hierarchy doesn't blur.
