Silken Gold
#fce17c
Warmer yellow-green highlight for sunny, structured sections
About Silken Gold
I keep coming back to Silken Gold as that light, creamy yellow that reads distinctly golden, not lemony, even when it sits next to greens. It feels softer and more saturated than the paler options in this family, but it still stays airy. Compared to Pasta Luego and Mellow Dandelion, it doesn't lean cool or chartreuse, and it doesn't lose its warmth into a muted, buttered haze like Cup Noodles can.
In practice, it's the shade I use for green-brand packaging mockups and recipe screen backgrounds where you want "golden pantry" warmth without turning the page honey-orange. It's great for food-delivery app panels, onboarding steps, and category tabs that need to feel ready-to-use next to sage and deeper teal. Also worth it for marketing landing headers and loyalty banners, because it holds its glow while still feeling calm.
Small quirk: if you pair it with very cool grays, it can look slightly more yellow-gold than you expect, so I usually balance with darker olive or warm brown accents.
