About Cup Noodles

Cup Noodles is that light, instant-yellow that shows up on the inside of the lid when the broth steam has just cleared. It feels softer and more buttered than , but it doesn't have Crème Pâtissière's deeper golden pigment. Compared to , it reads less sunlit and more cozy, with a slightly muted, smoother finish.

I use it for product and recipe surfaces where you want warmth without drifting too far into full honey. It works well in food-delivery apps, loyalty banners, and recipe cards, especially when the brand green needs a light partner that won't compete. It also plays nicely with off-whites and warm grays, staying readable against charcoal while keeping the UI mood the one you reach for when you need "ready to tap" instead of "extra bright."

Quick note: keep an eye on very cool backgrounds, since Cup Noodles can look a touch more greenish when the surrounding white runs icy.
