Hippy
#eae583
Soft, pale chartreuse green for airy section breaks
About Hippy
Painted on the tiny status chips of a farm-monitoring app, Hippy reads like a soft, sunlit yellow with a green wink. It's not the cream-leaning hush of Beekeeper, and it doesn't go full buttery warmth like Cornflake. This one feels lighter and more playful than a strict yellow, with enough undertone green to keep it from turning syrupy.
I reach for it when the UI needs a cheerful base without tipping into the yolk-gold feeling you get from more classic yellows. It's great for ag-tech dashboards, field log highlights, and hospitality interface accents where you want "bright" but not loud. Pair it with deeper greens and olive neutrals to hold the mood; against flat whites it stays friendly, while forest tones make the green cast show up cleanly.
One quirk: it can look a little washed if you pair it with cool greys that are too close in lightness, so I usually contrast it with warmer grays or darker foliage shades.
