Apricot Freeze
#f3cfb7
Light apricot peach with crisp, neutral warmth
About Apricot Freeze
On my screen, Apricot Freeze reads like a chilled apricot glaze, light and creamy, but with more crisp clarity than the other pale apricot neutrals. It's noticeably cooler than Cashew Nut's tan-clay warmth, and it keeps a cleaner peach undertone than Bellini, which goes more muted and stretched. Against Gentle Caress, this one stays less pink-forward and avoids that softly rosier skin tone feel.
I use it when I want warmer-than-cool backgrounds without drifting into "sunbaked" territory. Think packaging for frozen foods and dairy alternatives, skincare and wellness onboarding, and product UI where you need the page to feel fresh, not steeped. It's also a strong choice for e-commerce hero backgrounds when your photography runs bright and you don't want the UI to compete.
One note: because it's pale and slightly understated, it can look a touch washed out next to more saturated yellows. If that happens, pair it with a slightly deeper apricot or a clean cool gray to keep the edges crisp.
