Sriracha

Picture a fresh bottle cap on a lunch table, that red-orange kick that shows up the moment the light hits it. Sriracha lands hotter than Camellia, less coral-forward than Coral Commander, and it doesn't go as cool and reserved as Breeze of Chilli. It's a sharper, more assertive orange with a slightly higher red pull, so it reads energized without turning into a pink-ish signal.

I reach for the one you reach for when an interface needs a nudge you can't miss: dashboards and finance apps for risky or time-sensitive highlights, health flows for "take action" states, and social products for badges and callouts that need to stand out fast but stay in the orange family. Against whites and light grays it pops with clean contrast, while darker UI surfaces keep it from feeling flat.

Quirk to watch: because it's tuned for impact, it's best as an accent, not a background. Pair it with neutral grays and let the red-orange do the talking.
