Whiskers
#f6f1e2
Milky light gray with a softer, cooler cast
About Whiskers
I think of Whiskers as the lightest gray that still feels like it has manners. It's not an almost-white slip like Bianca, and it doesn't lean into the cream-forward look of Divine Pleasure. This one lands closer to cool, chalky lightness with a soft lift, so the background stays quiet without going warm or beige.
For editorial layouts, product dashboards, and packaging, I reach for Whiskers when the UI needs space to breathe but you want grays to keep their separation from both whites and warmer neutrals. Compared to Open Book, it feels less "paper-warmed" and more consistently gray, so it doesn't pick up extra yellow on mixed photos. Pair it with medium type, warm blacks, or muted accent grays and it reads clean and steady across screen and print.
Quirk: because it's so light, it can look a touch cooler beside very creamy whites. If your brand relies on warm off-whites, test side-by-side before you commit to large panels.
