Metroid Red

Deeper red-orange heat for grounded alerts
About Metroid Red
This red-orange looks like a high-gloss label catching light at the edge of a warning, not a full flame. Metroid Red lands slightly darker and more grounded than the more straightforward punch of Coquelicot, with a tighter, less neon charge. Compared to Boiling Magma, it keeps its heat without going raw and scorched, and compared to Fire Opal it's less ember-bright and a bit more assertive in the red direction.
I use it when the UI needs urgency but you still want the surface to feel engineered, not burning. Think dashboards and finance apps that flash "attention" states, storefront promo modules, and ad-tech alert chips on dark or mixed-brand backgrounds. It's my the one you reach for for primary buttons in dark gradients where you want readability and punch, yet not the "consequence" weight Boiling Magma brings.
On very pale backgrounds it can feel heavy, so I'll soften it with cleaner neutrals or pair it with a calmer orange for balance.
