Mad for Mango
#f8a200
Sunny mango-gold, higher brightness than orange-gold
About Mad for Mango
Mad for Mango is what you get when mango flesh hits the light: a golden, sunlit yellow that stays fully yellow without sliding into orange's red heat. Compared to Orange, it's less peel-sharp and more fruit-soft. It also doesn't carry Carona's mid-spectrum friendliness, because this one feels brighter and more decisive, not rounded. And unlike Orange You Glad, it reads less like a fresh citrus slice and more like a ripe glow that's slightly richer under the same room lighting.
I use it for food and wellness packaging where you want a cheerful signal, not a salesy warning. It's my stop-sign for flavor on labels, batch stickers, and recipe tiles. In UI, it shows up in e-commerce category headers, cart highlights, and promo counters where you want warmth that stays legible over light layouts. The one you reach for when the rest of the palette is butter, cream, or pale grays.
Pair with cocoa brown or slate gray so the yellow doesn't look candy-coated on warmer screens.
