Bleached Sunflower

Muted, pale sunflower yellow-green for airy UI backgrounds
About Bleached Sunflower
Bleached Sunflower is what happens when you take yellow seriously but refuse to let it dominate. It's lighter and less saturated than Buttered Popcorn, which means it reads almost neutral at first glance, until the light hits it right and you realize there's actual warmth buried in there. Not the soft-butter warmth of Cream and Butter, and nowhere near the peachy territory of Candle in the Wind. This one stays pale, stays restrained, but it's distinctly alive.
It lands well in editorial, SaaS dashboards, and fintech platforms where you need a background that signals "welcoming" without looking decorative. Works on product pages too, especially anything minimal or tech-forward where you want warmth without the coziness factor. The lightness keeps it from feeling retro or nostalgic the way some of its warmer cousins do.
Pair it with charcoal and it'll surprise you, suddenly that buried warmth becomes visible, almost architectural. Test it against pure white backgrounds though; it can fade into the canvas if your contrast isn't deliberate.
