Butter Honey
#f5e5ab
Warm butter-gold chartreuse for soft, readable UI accents
About Butter Honey
Butter Honey sits between commitment and restraint, it's got actual yellow in it, not the whisper-of-warmth that Crème de la Crème pulls off, but it refuses the full saturation play that Banana Mania leans into. You get a color with presence, something that reads warm the moment you look at it, but not so intense it demands to be the star of the show.
This one lands on product pages, food interfaces, and light editorial layouts where you need a background that feels intentional without looking staged. It's the kind of color that works harder than it looks, paired with charcoal it suddenly reads deliberate and architectural, but unlike its paler cousins it won't evaporate the moment your contrast gets casual. It's got body.
The difference from Bleached Sunflower matters: that one almost hides its warmth. This doesn't. Test it against off-white if you have to, but it'll hold its own better than the colors sitting lighter in this family. It knows what it is and isn't pretending otherwise.
