Gentle Caress
#fcd7ba
Lighter, softer apricot highlight than coral kiss
About Gentle Caress
Gentle Caress looks like a soft peach-cream pulled just slightly toward pink, not toward the deeper caramel warmth you get with Burrito. It's light and airy, but it holds onto its color. Compared to Acropolis, it keeps more saturation in the midtones, so it doesn't dissolve into beige as easily. And unlike Coral Kiss, it doesn't lean coral-red, so it reads calmer and more skin-close.
I use it when I want warmer than pure white without turning into "sunscreen orange." It's great for product UI where backgrounds need to feel friendly but not loud, especially in e-commerce and beauty product pages with soft photography. It also works well on onboarding screens for wellness and skincare apps, packaging for gentle creams, and hospitality materials where you want warmth that doesn't feel coral-forward.
One quirk: it can look a touch rosier next to very yellow neutrals. Pair it with creamy off-whites, or anchor with soft cocoa and cool gray type so it stays legible and stays itself.
