Sablé
#f6d8be
Powdery peach-beige for softer UI backgrounds
About Sablé
Sablé always reminds me of the outer crumb of a shortbread cookie right before it browns: light, creamy, and slightly dusty. Compared with Gentle Caress, it has less pink-skin softness and more of that tan-cookie calm. And unlike Burrito, it never leans into caramel depth. It also reads less fruity than Peach Puff, staying more neutral and beige-leaning than peach-forward.
It's my go-to for backgrounds that feel warmer than pure white but don't tip into sunscreen-orange territory. In UI, it's great for e-commerce category pages, checkout panels, and packaging mockups where the photo needs to stay the hero and the interface needs to stay friendly. I like it for skincare, wellness onboarding, and food labels that want a warm baked feel without the boldness of Burrito. This is the one you reach for when your page needs soft warmth with restrained saturation.
Quirk: place it next to strong yellows and it can look a touch more muted than you expect, so I usually anchor with clean off-whites or warm neutrals that are slightly richer.
