Candy Corn

Candy Corn reads softer than it actually is. It's got the yellow backbone that Canary and Big Yellow Taxi wear on the outside, but this one wraps it in enough lightness that it feels almost apologetic, which is exactly why it works where the others would feel like overkill. It's pale enough to recede but saturated enough to matter, the kind of color that sneaks into a layout and makes things look intentional without screaming.

You'll land it on product dashboards, fintech apps, and long-form interfaces where warmth matters but fatigue is the real enemy. Email clients, documentation sites, design tools you're staring at all day. It's lighter than Banana so it doesn't flatten against cool grays, but it's got none of Canary's aggression. Against Big Yellow Taxi, it's the smaller, less confident sibling, less presence, more restraint. Pair it with dark text and imagery holds clean. Pair it with warm grays and it disappears into the family in a good way.

The catch: it can read cheap if you're not careful. Keep it away from stark white backgrounds where it'll look like a placeholder. Warm contexts make it sing.
