Super Banana

Super bright lemon yellow with punchy warmth
About Super Banana
Super Banana looks like a banana peel hit with bright morning sun, then laid flat behind UI chrome. In the Gray family, it doesn't behave like Hive's sharper yellow intent or like Banana's almost-background softness. It's light enough to feel airy, but it holds onto more yellow presence, so it reads as a deliberate surface color rather than just warmed gray.
I use it when I want warmer than pure white warmth without drifting into the "highlight" territory of brighter yellows. Think dashboards and finance apps that need section separation in long-lived layouts, onboarding for logistics and SaaS where guidance needs to feel friendly, and product media thumbnails for retail and fintech where the light area has to stay legible next to dark imagery. Compared to Light Yellow, it has a touch more saturation and less of that sun-bleached, muted calm.
Pair it with slightly cooler grays if you need contrast, but keep them from going too icy, or the yellow can look faint and underfed.
